DX Series

• 3-axis, fully automatic, AC servo downfeed.
• Double-V way construction on both cross and longitudinal, hand scraped for precision & longevity.
• Rough and fine grind cycles with sparkout provide fully automatic grinding cycles
• Minimum Infeed Resolution is 0.000050" via precision ball screw
• Vertical DRO displays total stock removal, distance to go, and error messages.
• Chuck Control, mag/demag, auto lube all standard.
• Hydraulic over-wheel dresser, cross DRO, coolant/filter systems
  optional.
• Inexperienced operators can set up MDI solid state control in minutes for complete grind cycle.

much like an NC grinder, but is priced more like
a conventional grinder.

Customers with larger lot sizes turn to the
Okamoto EX Series for rapid production of close
tolerance parts.  Easy to learn!

EX-B Series

• Similar construction to DX series-- hand scraped double-V ways with addition of AC servo crossfeed.
• Fully automatic grind cycle with rough, fine, shift-plunge, and rapid wheelhead retraction.
• Servo-driven ballscrews on both downfeed and crossfeed for ultimate accuracy.
• Standard, fully-auto over-wheel dresser is programmable with auto dress & wheel wear compensation, and air-cut allowance.
• Interrupt cycle at any time to dress, then rapid back to work after compensating.
• Fanuc MDI control displays 3 pages of simple info: Grind Data, Dress Data, Work/Chuck Datum Positions.
• Simple, quick teach setup of cycle fills in most required data.   Simple to learn and to use.
